Staff Spotlight ‘22: Our Support Team
Many of our clients know myself, Gabi, or Tori as the main PR Agents at WTF, but the truth is we have an INCREDIBLE support staff working with us behind the scenes. Here is a shout out to the girls who keep things hustling along:
Jamie Perez - Publicist
Jamie Perez started as an intern with WTF and has been Gabi’s right hand on every indie/alt campaign. She is an absolute QUEEN and one of the most helpful publicists on our team. When Jamie was an intern, she didn’t treat WTF like a regular internship. She worked hard and genuinely wanted to learn, proving herself a valuable asset to the team – exactly what we wanted our internship to be. Since joining the team officially at WTF, Jamie has consistently knocked it out of the park and never once dropped the ball. She genuinely cares about her work, results, and impact on our clients, and her passion for the work can be seen in everything she does. I got to work with Jamie more in 2022, with her taking on the press side of GRLwood’s campaign so that I could focus on social media and artist dev.
Next year, we hope to work with Harry Styles so we can make Jamie’s dreams come true!
Here is a note from Jamie on working with WTF this year and her top 3 accomplishments in 2022:
Super proud of all the work we did this year here at WTF! I'm even more excited to see what this upcoming year brings and eager to hit the ground running come the new year. Happy New Year!

Olivia Paranich - Jr. Publicist
Olivia started working for WTF as an intern this year. She immediately stood out as an amazing team member!
Some people take an internship and do the bare minimum, helping with mundane tasks and not contributing much else to the team. Olivia’s work ethic is the opposite. She is always engaged, enthusiastic, and responsive, and came with an attitude to want to learn and contribute. She has been an invaluable asset to the team and worked beside Tori Kravitz as her right hand on all rock and metal campaigns. A few months ago, we formally welcomed her to the team as a Jr. Publicist, and I can’t wait to see her grow!
Here is a note from Olivia on her work with us this year:
During my time at WTF this year, I really enjoyed working with GFM on their tour press. Working on Stud Count’s campaign was also a great learning experience for me. Overall, it has been great to support each campaign in the ways I could, and I’m glad to contribute even the littlest bit!
Cara Forline - Social Media
Cara is our Social Media star and, honestly, keeps this ship floating with the most positive attitude I have ever seen that sometimes it’s scary (kidding, lol). With my day-to-day neverending to-do list and the PR agents’ neverending campaign tasks, it’s tough to stay on top of managing the WTF Social Media pages and making our work really stand out. Cara came on board as an intern and immediately hit the ground running, creating eye-catching graphics and content for our social media pages. When her internship ended, we knew we couldn’t let her go or function without her, so we brought her aboard to continue doing what she does best! Next year, I’ll be working with Cara more as we build our social media management services out – get ready world!
Here is a message from Cara:
Happy New Year! As we're about to ring in 2023, one of my favorite memories of this year was getting to attend one of our clients, RIVALS' show in Philly with one of WTF!'s senior publicists, Gabi. The show was a great experience and so much fun! I'm excited to welcome in the New Year with everyone at WTF. It's been an amazing year since joining WTF! and I'm looking forward to all the projects we have planned for 2023 - it's going to be great!
Jay Houston - Executive Assistant
Jay Houston is WTF Publicity’s Executive Assistant and runs much of the show behind the scenes. As my personal assistant and right hand to literally everything, Jay has been so valuable to this company. This year, I got to visit with her twice - first at a RIVALS show in Denver, Colorado near her hometown, and again a few months later in Las Vegas for the G2 Active Rock Conference.
Jay is extremely driven to learn and willing to help with all tasks, no matter how small or mundane. She has learned quickly the art of communication with clients, is a master at scheduling, and even brought on her first own client this year - JASON FAUNT (A.K.A. The Red Power Ranger)!!!
